These are four photos I was given when I was about 7/8 and they were taken by a distant relative of mine, Ron Davies, who was a train driver on the Midland Mainline. Scanning by PB.

These photos depict the remains of the abandoned high-level track (40' high!) project which was being built at Sutton Gault. Unfortunately, a series of strucural problems and failures led to the project being abandoned, thus consigning the hovertrain to the history books.
